For work, I was ask to head out on a 3 day trip to Boston to discuss technology.
I have never travelled on a business trip for a 1 day meeting with two days of
travel, and it was quite the experience. I found that I really enjoy chatting
about projects from a high level as well as technology that will aid in the
projects success. Working at my company for 11 years now, I've now become a
product expert and hope to continue to experience these types of meetings as I
can really help bridge the techTravel experience to World Cup 2018 in RussiaA week ago, I was in Florida wrapping up the developer conference that my
company sponsors every 2 years. (on average)
For me it was my 5th developer conference and the third time in a row that I was
responsible for coordinating and creating the technical schedule for the
conference topics. It's a huge undertaking and it requires a lot of work and
analysis to ensure the correct message is delivered through each of the
technical sessions. It kind of has to be like reading a book, where their is Camping in Capitola, CaliforniaToday I complete my 5 day technical presentation sprint for my work's developer
conference. I've had to fight several days of jet lag, end of winter weather
conditions and the lack of my ability to speak Japanese... But luckily for me I
can honestly say, it was part of the experience and I welcomed it fully.
For me, this kind of work excites me; the idea of preparing technical content
and organizing it in a way that is meaningful and educational for an audience is
challenging and requires lots First day of my business trip has already reminded me of the struggles with
travel. Everything from packing, driving to long term parking and to
understanding the paths to take in other international airports where a
different language is spoken and the writing on the walls (literally) are not
spelled out.
The good thing is for the most part, technology makes it very easy to recover
from a minor hiccup or lack of planning.
Currently I have a 4 hour layover in South Korea. (which I'm half way dHappy first of the Month! March 1st is here!
As I kick off March, I'm getting ready to head off to Japan on a business trip.
I'm excited to go as it will be a very productive trip. I'll get to meet some
very smart people (core engineers) and discuss next generation goodies. Nothing
I can share here, but for sure my experiences which will be brought to you by
the company of my travel gear:

to watch the northern lights with my pregnant wife and son. Knowing that it
would be a hit or miss on wether or not it would be possible to see them made me
feel nervous, anxious and excited all at the same time. We walked up a hill for
about 150 meters and was asked to wait. No other details were given which made
me think of the the phrase: "being in the dark" which I frequently use when
given a update on rumors at One of the best travels experiences thus far was the trip to Machu Picchu. Not
only was visiting the famous ruins an experience of a lifetime, but being there
as a newly wed was something that I now appreciate more than ever. Hands down
the wedding was a celebration full of fun and laughter, but the honey moon was
something that my words are not able to describe. Today, I wanted to post a good
picture from one of my travels as I get ready to embark on my new adventure to
Iceland. I typically useLast year my wife and I decided on Iceland as our international trip for 2017. A
decision that stemmed off of the idea of traveling somewhere that is winter
like. At first we were thinking about London in December, but didn’t pull the
trigger because we just didn’t feel comfortable traveling during the holiday
when our families are expecting us to attend the various gatherings.
We ended up purchasing our typical travel book and researched the many
activities that Iceland offers during the winteI never knew how much I would miss the feeling I felt in Brazil watching Mexico
beat Croatia 3-1 in the final group stage match during the 2014 World Cup. As I
go though my pictures, the image of the mostly empty stadium brings a nostalgia
that reminds me why I love soccer so much. It reinforces why I spend so many
hours thinking about it, learning about it, and even at 35, playing it. Soccer
is an emotional journey and a soccer stadium only amplifies the emotion. It
represents the capsule in whI was about 20 (2002) when I left on my first international trip outside of the
Americas. My best friend invited me to share an experience in the Pacific
Islands of Fiji. Eight years later and its hard to remember what I felt as I
planned for the trip. I’m sure my mindset was on exploring and expectations
leaning towards doing some partying. I do remember I was finishing up my last
quarters at Cal State Hayward and was expecting to graduate the coming year
which was 2003. Ronny which was the fri
