Numbers represent Age

To me this infamous statement which either tries to make you feel younger or older, (depending on which sideline you stand) can be misleading and often condescending. I see age not as a number but as a measurement of how long I have survived since I’ve entered into this world. Grant it the first years was with a lot of help with my parents, family and friends.

And now, every year that passes I feel that I grow and add experiences to my character that feeds my personality and ultimately fuels my maturity. I know some will believe that age will define how mature you should be, but in reality, your maturity is based on your ability to learn, grow, and evolve. Its good to reflect on your level of maturity, and appreciate your will to survive based on the number that represents you for such a short time.
